Ewan McGregor will appear in a drama series in development at Amazon
Ewan McGregor is set to star in a drama series currently in development at Amazon Prime Video, Variety has learned. The series, currently titled “Lodi”, is inspired by a true story told in Alta Online Composition by Andrew Dubbins. A synopsis of the series reads, “In 1977, Lou (McGregor), an auto salesperson turned ordinary small-town citizen turned FBI snitch, infiltrates the cabal when a key member of organized crime offers to buy his Cadillac dealership.
For the next three seasons, Lou’s hunt for fame is tested as he becomes embroiled in the inner workings of a crime family – from tackling a multi-million dollar operation to acquiring a surrogate son – before his first indictment for a heinous crime.

He recently directed “Star Wars.” Based on the Disney limited series, he reprises his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi, which McGregor is also producing. McGregor’s other recent television credits include an Emmy-winning part in season 3 of “Halston” on Netflix and “Fargo” on FX. His most recent film Credits include “You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder,” “Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio,” and “Raymond & Ray.”
