Heartstopper Season 2 has been announced to arrive on Netflix in August
Netflix premiere date, August. 3, and shared a behind-the-scenes video with Kit Connor, Joe Locke, and other cast members on Monday. Heartstopper is a British teen romantic comedy-drama based on Alice Osman’s webcomic of the same name.
The TV series was created by Osman and follows the love between classmates Charlie Spring (Locke) and Nick Nelson (Connor). Also starring William Gao, Yasmin Phinney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Toby Donovan, Jenny Walser, Stephen Fry, and Olivia Colman.

Netflix also tweeted with the cast. In the video, Conner and Locke teased “fresh” and “mature” storylines in Season 2. “Alice’s got some really cool scripts for us. It feels cool and fresh.
A different vibe than season one,” Connor said. “Charlie travels a lot. His story is a little bit more mature,” Locke adds. Heartstopper cast and crew wrapped filming on season 2 in December.
