Maria Menounos and her husband, Kevin Undergarrow, have a baby on the way. The 44-year-old television personality announced the gender of his unborn first child with Undergarrow, 55, on Monday’s episode of his Heel Squad x Maria Menounos podcast.
“We are so excited to announce that we are having a baby girl,” Menounos said. Menounos told fans that she and Undergo had picked out a name for their daughter.
“We’ve been thinking about names for years because as you may or may not know, it’s been a nearly 10-year journey for us,” the star said of her pregnancy. “We’ve been thinking about names forever and we came up with the perfect name for this baby,” she added.
Menounos teased the news on Instagram on Friday. “We can’t tell you how excited we are for the fun show and this new chapter in our lives. This little one is already so loved!!” she wrote. Menounos announced in February that she was expecting her first child via surrogate after fertility struggles.
“After a decade of trying everything, we are so grateful to the beautiful family who helped us conceive our baby,” she said at the time. “Keven, my father, and I are so excited to have this spirit come into our lives. What a blessing.”
