Double cross Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova declared her commitment to mentor Jiri Vanek on Wednesday, presenting with a wedding band on her hand in her “exceptional spot”.

“Blissful news we needed to impart to you folks… I said ‘OK’ in my unique spot,” the 32-year-old world number 21 tweeted, adding a photograph of the couple from the All England Club.

Kvitova, who won Wimbledon in 2011 and 2014, recruited the 44-year-old Vanek in 2016. Vanek has two children from his past marriage.
