For 15 years, the Central Section has had an all-star soccer game. At the end of the school year, Lindsey brings out the best. There are so many talented seniors.
That’s why the same organizers are starting the first-of-its-kind senior showcase this weekend. Clovis North’s HC Cameron Sharokhi and McLane Highlanders’ Coached by HC Eric Rodriguez, but only 25 players have been invited.
The roster includes sophomores and juniors, as well as seniors. Saturday’s boys start at McLane Stadium at 6:30 p.m. There will be an all-star game.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students, while kids 6 and under get in free. And with a roster that includes juniors, there are plenty of them, too.
For some players, taking the pitch to perform in front of college coaches is the last shot.
