During Tuesday night’s two-hour finale, everyone watched with excitement as the Georgia native was announced as the new winner of the NBC singing competition show. The aspiring country singer made the heartbreaking announcement after beating out fellow Voice hopefuls Body (Team Blake), Morgan Miles (Team Camila), Omar Jose Cardona (Team Legend), and Brayden Lapp (Team Blake).
In Bryce’s last time on stage, he sang “Hillbilly Bone” with fellow Voice coach Blake Shelton. It was the end of a roller coaster Season 22 that began with his memorable blind audition of “Goodbye Time” by Conway Twitty. After The Voice coach Blake welcomed Bryce into his team, the up-and-coming artist continued to stand out repeatedly with his soulful songs and stylish outfits.
What’s more, fellow Voice coaches, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Camila Cabello have impressed him. Fast forward after the battle and knockout rounds – during which he performed “Colder Weather” by the Jack Brown Band and “Red Dirt Road” by Brooks & Dunn – Bryce solidified his place in the competition and advanced to the final round.
After an electrifying evening that included special performances from Kelly Clarkson, OneRepublic, Maluma, and The Voice season 21 winner Girl Named Tom, host Carson Daly broke the big news. Not missing a beat, fans immediately took to Twitter to join in on the celebration. “Congratulations Bryce I know this is my first time hearing you sing! I’ve had you as a finalist on my team since the beginning of the season.
I can’t wait to hear you on country radio!” A person wrote. “Bryce deserves to win! Best singer! Always on point! Congrats and best wishes!!” Another added.” YESSSS Bryce won! Team Blake for the win !!! @BlakeShelton fired back!” said another fan. On the other hand, there are other Voice fans who were disappointed when Bodie didn’t take home the win.

While there’s only one Voice winner, we’re sure we haven’t heard the last of Bode along with Morgan, Omar, and Brayden. As fans know, Bryce will sign a recording contract with Universal Music Group and will begin releasing new original music in the near future. We’ll keep our fingers crossed.
