Monkeypox: Canada Has Confirmed 1,411 Cases

According to the Public Health Agency of Canada, 1411 cases have been confirmed. 38 people were hospitalized in the total cases, the agency said. The second dose in Canada will begin this week. The second dose is only given to people without symptoms after 28 days.

Of the confirmed cases, 674 are from Ontario 167 from British Columbia, 521 from Quebec, 41 are from Alberta, two from the Yukon, three are from Saskatchewan and one each from Manitoba, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, the health agency added on Friday.
