Pro rally driver Ken Black has been killed in a snowmobile accident

The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office received a call about an accident in the Mill Hollow area around 2 p.m. local time. “The driver, Kenneth Black, a 55-year-old man from Park City, Utah, was driving the snowmobile down a steep incline when the snowmobile reared up and ran over him.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident resulted in injuries,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement posted on Facebook. “Mr. Black was traveling with a group but was alone when the accident happened,” it added.

U.S. Sheriff’s Office, Search and Rescue, Utah State Parks and Forest Service. Law enforcement responded to the scene. “We are saddened by the loss of Kenneth and our hearts go out to his family and friends,” the sheriff’s office said.
