Ta’Niya Latson is a junior guard for the Florida State Women’s Basketball team.

She was born on October 29, 2000, in Denham Springs, Louisiana.

 Latson was named the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year and Louisiana Miss Basketball in her senior year of high school.

In her freshman year at FSU, Latson played in 28 games and averaged 2.5 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.

During her sophomore year, she played in all 25 games, starting in eight of them, and averaged 6.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.

In her junior year, Latson played in 26 games, starting in 25 of them, and averaged 9.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.

Latson has been recognized for her achievements, including being named to the 2019 McDonald's All-American Game and the 2019 Jordan Brand Classic.
