"Illinois to Host Big Ten Softball Tournament for the First Time"

Illinois was supposed to host the Big Ten softball tournament in 2020 but it was canceled due to COVID-19.

The Illini are finally hosting the tournament this year, welcoming the top 12 teams from the league to Urbana for a four-day, single-elimination event.
