Journalists and TV personalities honor legendary journalist Barbara Walters

Media personalities and journalists have paid tribute to legendary TV journalist Barbara Walters after she died at the age of 93 on Friday.

In 1976, Walters became the first woman to co-host a national TV network's evening news program, “ABC Evening News.”

Her career also includes a quarter-century of co-hosting time on ABC News' "20/20" and NBC's "Today" shows, including co-founding "The View" in 1997.
