Star Wars actor Gary Friedkin has died at the age of 70

Actor Gary Friedkin, best known for his roles in Star Wars and Happy Days, has died aged 70.

He died of complications from COVID-19, the New York Post reported.

The actor passed away peacefully in a hospice on December 2 after three and a half weeks.

Born Nov. 23, 1952, in Youngstown, Friedkin will be remembered as "a gift to all who knew him."

He appeared in the blockbuster film "Blade Runner" and episodes of "The Twilight Zone," "The Practice" and "Chicago Hope."

He played Clarence, a cook at Arnold's restaurant in "Happy Days."
